Revitalizing a music production marketplace
HRDRV is a community-based record label and music production application positioned to revolutionize the music industry. Through HRDRV, producers and artists collaborate via a digital marketplace to create and distribute music while maintaining full rights and ownership of their work.
CEO Michaela Shiloh teamed up with Kirschbaum to address existing architectural issues and continue software development for a robust and feature-rich application. Our team:
- Determined core features: Selected features needed to launch the software. Fixed and built new robust architecture to support those features and future scalability.
- Revamped subscription management: A complete rewrite of how subscriptions worked to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Overhauled order and purchase processes: Redesigned the order page for a seamless user experience. Introduced a chat feature, allowing users to interact and purchase directly through service providers. Rebuilt the user interface to improve aesthetics and usability.
- Future-proofed the application: Ensured adaptability to changing market dynamics while maintaining simplicity for development teams.
- Developed an in-house media conversion system: Developed a system to make all uploaded music playable; it converted audio files to m3u8 format for seamless streaming, regardless of user internet speed.
- Implemented user chat: Built a user chat feature for communication and purchasing between users and service providers.
- Created an order management system: Built a robust order management system with in-depth status tracking and event capabilities.
- Integrated with Stripe: Integrated seamlessly with Stripe services and API for secure and efficient payment processing.
- Built affiliate program: Implemented an affiliate program for business expansion.
